The Story
This is the oil VaHooDoo was born from — the first formula our family ever made, long before there was a company to name. Frankincense and myrrh, the two gifts of the Magi, steeped slowly into castor and jojoba until the resins give up their gold. Rosehip seed and bakuchi seed finish the blend — and bakuchi is the seed the beauty world just discovered: the source of bakuchiol, the plant world's gentle answer to retinol. We didn't invent this oil to chase a trend. We kept the family recipe and let the world catch up. On the skin it smells like incense the moment it catches: warm frankincense resin, a whisper of myrrh's balsam, and beneath it the quiet green-earth freshness of rosehip and bakuchi seed.
The Ritual
After cleansing at night, roll a few passes of Seed of Youth across your cheekbones, forehead, and neck. Press it in gently with your palms — don't rub, press. Take three slow breaths and let it work overnight, the way bakuchiol does best. In the morning you'll know why the family kept this one.
Meet the Ingredients
Frankincense resin (Boswellia)
one of the three gifts of the Magi, burned in temples and steeped into oils for thousands of years; its boswellic acids are among the most-studied compounds in traditional resin use.
Myrrh resin (Commiphora myrrha)
the other Magi gift; precious enough for kings, used in Egyptian beauty preparations going back millennia.
Castor & jojoba oils (50/50)
the carriers that pull the resins' gold into the blend; jojoba is technically a liquid wax, nearly identical to the skin's own sebum.
Rosehip seed oil (Rosa canina)
the red fruit of the wild rose, a traditional South American skin remedy, studied in modern trials for the appearance of fine lines and scars.
Bakuchi seed oil (Psoralea corylifolia)
the source of bakuchiol, the plant alternative to retinol that dermatology journals began studying in earnest in 2018; gentle enough for skin that can't tolerate retinoids.

Roll onto face and neck after cleansing, morning or night — or both. Press in with palms.
